Applications

Supershield EG-72T is used for Vertical-up, self-shielded, V-groove & Square Butt joint
single pass electrogas arc welding process of Storage tank fabrication.
It is suitable for welding of mild steel, Ship plate and Pressure vessel steel with high deposition
rate.

Supershield EG-72T is an Self-shielded Flux cored consumable used for electrogas arc welding
process (EGW).

Notes on Usage

① Proper preheating(50~150°C)(122~302°F) and interpass temperature must be used in order to release hydrogen which may cause cracking in weld metal when electoredes are used for medium and heavy plates.
